Talia Nell Bailey and Jonathan Joseph Plax were married June 2 at Ru’s Farm, an events space in Healdsburg, Calif. Eric L. Klein, an affiliate of Universal Ministries and a childhood friend of the groom, officiated.
Mrs. Plax, 32, is the director of product marketing in the data and technology division, in San Francisco, at IPG Mediabrands, which oversees a network of advertising agencies. She graduated from the College of William and Mary.
She is a daughter of Diane M. Strack of New York and Gordon R. Bailey of Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y. The bride’s father is the senior sales account executive at Duggal Visual Solutions, a visual imaging and printing company in New York. Her mother is an administrative assistant at Axa Advisors, an insurance company in New York, and is a host of international students attending language schools in New York. The bride is also a stepdaughter of Lyndall K. Bailey.
The bride is a descendant of James A. Bailey, a founder of the Barnum & Bailey Circus.
Mr. Plax, 40, is a senior director for software engineering at Salesforce, a cloud computing company in San Francisco. He graduated from Stanford.
