Erin Ashley Carr and Suzanne Marie Shrekgast are to be married on June 3 at the Keeler Tavern Museum in Ridgefield, Conn. Alexander T. Magliozzi, a friend of the couple, who became a Universal Life minister for the occasion, is to officiate.
Ms. Carr (left), 35, is the assistant controller of the NoMad restaurant in New York. She graduated cum laude from Kenyon College and received a degree in culinary arts from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y.
She is the daughter of Teresa Ruppert Carr and David C. Carr of Asheville, N.C. Ms. Carr’s father works as a human resources consultant for the City of Asheville. Her mother retired as a freelance graphic designer in Asheville.
Ms. Shrekgast, 37, is the digital strategist at Columbia’s Mailman School of Public Health in New York. She graduated from Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, Vt., and received a master’s degree in media studies from the New School in New York.
